Using our amazing Freeze Dried Organic Strawberries and our awesome Organic Quinoa, we’ve created a smooth, sweet, and yes, healthy pudding that you don’t have to feel guilty about eating. Too good to be true? Not possible, you say? It’s time to become a believer! It’s time for Strawberry Quinoa Pudding!
2 1/4 cups Water
1 1/2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Organic Strawberries
1/3 cup Honeyville Organic Quinoa
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Ultra Gel
Pinch of Salt
Combine 2 1/4 cups water in sauce pan with strawberries, quinoa, cinnamon, and salt.
Gently stir until ingredients are mixed well. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and let cook for 25 minutes.
Add ultra gel and sugar and stir continually until completely combined (about 1 minute), then remove from heat.
Pour into a large bowl, then place in refrigerator and allow to cool for at least 1 hour.
This pudding is beyond delicious, and healthy too! The rich taste of the strawberries and cinnamon are infused through the entire dish, with the quinoa provides a delicious base, perfect for this smooth pudding. The sugar adds just the right amount of sweetness without too much guilt. Top with some whipped heavy cream, or just enjoy it by itself.
