Ingredients:
1 box Honeyville Fudge Brownie Mix
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup Water
4 Eggs, divided
8 oz Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Greek Yogurt
2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Strawberries
1/4 cup Agave Nectar
Optional: 1 cup Honeyville Insta Whip + 1 cup cold Water (for topping)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, oil, water, and 2 eggs and mix together until a soft batter forms.
Pour batter into a greased brownie pan, and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 eggs, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and Greek yogurt, and mix together with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy. Pour on top of brownie batter in baking pan. Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes. (keep in mind, because of the layers and moisture, this dish takes a bit longer to bake up, so keep an eye on it and once you feel it’s set up, remove from oven.
While brownies are baking, re-hydrate your strawberries in a large bowl by adding less than 1/4 cup water in a large bowl, soaking the strawberries, then draining the excess water. Add agave nectar and mix together until soft and full combined.
Once brownies have baked about half the time, remove, spread strawberries on top, then place back in the oven until finished baking.
If you want to add insta whip, mix powder and water in a large bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks begin to form.
Remove brownies from oven, allow to cool for an hour or so (I put mine in the refrigerator to help this process) then serve.
These brownies are packed with delicious, creamy, layered goodness! The cheesecake topping is exactly what you’d expect in only the finest New York delicatessen cheesecake. The brownies are super moist, fudge-like, and delicious. The strawberries add an extra layer of flavor and taste, though if I could bake it again, I would add the strawberries after the brownies are finished baking.
When it comes to desserts, layers are where it’s at, and these brownies are nothing short of layered goodness!
