Is there anything Sour Cream can’t do? Mixed in a recipe, topped on a potato, or used to create an awesome dip, sour cream seems to be the main ingredient in most everything delicious. So why wouldn’t you look for reasons to add it to every meal?

Take biscuits for example. Alone, these patties of pure bread goodness are the perfect addition to any meal. Now, add a little sour cream instead of Buttermilk and what do you get? Super delicious biscuits of glory, that’s what! The best part of today’s recipe isn’t just the use of our amazing Powdered Sour Cream though. It’s the addition of another “secret ingredient.”

That’s right! With just a splash of lemon lime soda, and a cup of our powdered sour cream, you’ve got the lightest, fluffiest, most flavorful biscuits you could ever find. Drop in a little of the Big Dill seasoning from Chef Tess, and you’ve got a biscuit you can enjoy any time of the day! Get ready, lets bake some Sour Cream Dill Biscuits!

4 cups Honeyville All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Honeyville Powdered Sour Cream + 1 cup Water
1 cup Lemon Lime Soda
4 tsp Chef Tess The Big Dill Seasoning

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, mix together reconstituted sour cream and lemon lime soda.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix together until a dough ball begins to form.

On a floured surface, roll out dough.

Using a biscuit cutter or glass rim, cut out biscuits.

Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, or until tops are lightly golden.

Remove and serve.

These biscuits are packed with tons of flavor. The sour cream creates a light, fluffy biscuit, with the perfect crusty outside layer. The dill is the perfect addition with just enough flavor but not too overpowering. This is definitely a biscuit you’d want for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or any meal.
