You like oatmeal for breakfast? You also like quinoa? Let’s put the two together and we have something fabulous for you to try!! What about a warm dish of Breakfast Quinoa?  You can choose the fruit of choice for this breakfast or pick a few of them and have variety! Super easy to make. You can even cook the quinoa the night before and re-heat in the microwave for a quick “out the door on time” type of breakfast. Give it a shot and let us know what you think.


Recipe:
1 cup cooked Honeyville Quinoa
1/2 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Fruit (your favorite kind)
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp Mayple Syrup
2 Tbsp crushed Walnuts

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!

Some of my thoughts: I used freeze dried strawberries because my family looooooves them! I think that any fruit would be yummy. If you don’t have the “sweet tooth” like me, you may want to go on the lesser side or completely eliminate the cinnamon, sugar or maple syrup…..but to be honest, I didn’t like it without it. But then again, I do have a sweet tooth.
