I took a tried-and-true Fall-time dessert, pumpkin pie, and combined it with our creamy Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa mix to give you the perfect drink for your autumn celebrations. Believe me, this is the Hot Cocoa you’re going to want for Halloween and Thanksgiving! Grab your favorite mug, it’s time for Pumpkin Pie Hot Cocoa!
1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
1 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree
4 Tbsp Honeyville Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
1/4 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
Whipped Cream (optional)
First, warm up your milk.
To do this, place milk in a sauce pan and heat over the stove top at medium heat until steam begins to rise.
Drop in to milk 1 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree.
Add Hot Cocoa Mix and whisk together until fully combined. Your cocoa will have a lighter color than traditional cocoa.
Pour into your favorite mug, then sprinkle pumpkin pie spice on top. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
