If there is one thing I love most, it would have to be Asian cuisine! The delicious tastes, aroma, and spices of an over-the-top oriental dish always makes dinner time that much more exciting!

By far one of my favorite Asian dishes would have to be Fried Rice! I love it! The rich, bold taste of soy sauce and sesame oil, combined with ham, peas, chopped carrots, and sometimes fried egg, gives us everything we associate with oriental cuisine, all in one dish! But what if you could substitute one main ingredient for a delicious, healthy whole grain. Would it change the taste? Would it sizzle out the excitement?

Ladies and Gentlemen, we’ve found a way to make fried rice that much more tasty. How you ask? By getting rid of the rice. That’s rice, fried rice, but without the rice! Think we’re mad? Believe us, one taste of this delicious dish and you’ll never be able to go back to rice again. Grab your wok, it’s time for Pineapple Fried Quinoa!

Ingredients:
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Honeyville Dehydrated Onion
1/4 cup Honeyville Dehydrated Carrots
1/4 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Corn
3 cups Honeyville Organic Quinoa, cooked
1 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Pineapple
1/2 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Ham

Directions:
First, make sure you cook your quinoa and drain any excess liquid. I cooked ours up in the Fagor Pressure Cooker. It baked it up in 8 minutes.
