Granola is yummy and versatile–add it to yogurt, include your favorite Honeyville Freeze Dried Fruit and Honeyville Milk, or simply by itself, you have a great breakfast or a yummy snack! I originally found this recipe here but I’ve switched things up a bit by using Honeyville 6 Grain Cereal instead of the traditional Rolled Oats and using Honeyville Peanut Butter Powder
In a bowl mix the peanut butter powder with the water until smooth and creamy.
Add in honey, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix until well-combined.
Pour mixture over 6 grain and stir until well coated.
Spread mixture out on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a 325 degree preheated oven for 9 minutes. Stir granola and return to the oven for another 7-9 minutes. (I like my granola more crunchy than chewy. If you prefer less crunch, reduce the cooking time.) Once cooled store in an air tight container.
I’ll be eating mine as cereal though for breakfast with Honeyville Freeze Dried Strawberries-yum!
