Hello Honeyville Fans! My name is Pauline Nordin, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to meet with all of you and share this tasty recipe below, as well as talk a little bit about fitness.
I am a trainer, diet coach, and author. Currently I reside in Los Angeles, but am originally from Sweden. While there, I had the opportunity to work as a trainer for the Nordic version of the hit NBC show, “The Biggest Loser” and actually coached my team to victory during the 2006 season.
I am the author of a e-book named Fighter Diet, which presents a gutsy system for maximum fat loss, and have worked with many American fitness magazines focused on a no-nonsense style to lose weight and live healthier. I also have a best selling workout DVD “The Butt Bible” which focuses not only an intense workout, but a complete fitness system that helps beat your backside into shape. In addition, I’ve created a revolutionary workout app, Live Life Lean, that not only provides you with an intense weight training and exercise program (all designed by me), but helps keep track of your progress, gives you tips and techniques as you workout, and connects you to an interactive community to keep you motivated through your body strengthening experience.
Today I’m excited to have the opportunity to share one of my favorite Live Life Lean recipes with you, using one of my favorite Honeyville products, Oat Fiber! Oat Fiber is packed full of 90% dietary fiber by weight and helps regulate your blood glucose sugar levels, as well as give your your daily insoluble fiber.
When training to achieve a defined lean body, oat fiber also helps keep your immune system strong, thanks to the beneficial effects soluble fiber has on your gut flora for intense workouts. And, best of all, Honeyville Oat Fiber simply tastes great, satisfies your appetite, and is super easy to use.
Today’s recipe is one I bake up regularly. It is the perfect, healthy snack to give you energy and needed fiber to power through your daily workout regiment. I hope you enjoy it!
Oat Fiber Cinnamon Bread
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Honeyville Oat Fiber
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Raw Organic Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp Truvia
1 1/2 cups Egg Whites
1 Whole Egg
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
Truvia & Cinnamon (for topping)
Directions:
Warm a ceramic frying pan over the stove top at medium heat.
Add dry ingredients to a small bowl and stir together.
Next, add eggs and mix thoroughly. Let the batter sit about one minute.
Coat pan with Coconut Cooking Spray.
Pour batter into pan.
Cooke on one side for around 4-6 minutes, or until bread is dry all the way through. Flip over and let cook an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove from pan, sprinkle with Truvia and cinnamon and enjoy!
Tip: Enjoy with heavy whipped cream or cottage cheese.
Also, if the bread seems a little dry, just add some water and let soak. Within 10 minutes it will be moist.
For variation, you could also add chopped olives instead of cinnamon and Truvia, or some fat free mozzarella cheese, tomato slices, and fresh basil!
I hope you enjoyed this recipe. Be sure to check out my different websites below, and download my Live Life Lean App today!
