I love whole grains, don’t you? Packed full of taste, texture, and so many vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, whole grains really have everything the body needs to stay healthy and strong.
One of my favorite whole grains would have to be Millet. This naturally gluten-free grain is full of fiber, protein, and potassium. It’s also not an acid forming food, which makes it super easy to digest. With a sweet, nut-like flavor and texture, this grain goes great baked up in a loaf of bread, buttery dinner roll, or as a thickener in soups.

1/2 cup Honeyville Hulled Millet
1/4 tsp Salt
2 cups Almond Milk
4 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
In a medium pot, combine millet, salt, almond milk, coconut sugar, and vanilla, and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook on low for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and leave covered for another 20 minutes.
Stir, then serve.
