1 cup Honeyville Alta Artisan Flour
1 tsp Himalayan Salt
3/4 cup Honeyville Marshmallow Motherlode Hot Cocoa Mix
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
1/3 cup Hot Water
1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips, melted
1/4 cup Eggnog
2 tsp Light Corn Syrup
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Whisk flour and salt together in a separate bowl, then set aside.
In a heatproof bowl, add hot cocoa mix and dark chocolate chips.
Add hot water and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is combined and smooth.
Add cocoa mixture to a large bowl. Add butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs. With an electric hand mixer, mix until ingredients are fully combined.
Next, add your flour mixture and mix until a thick batter forms.
Pour batter into your USA Pan Large Loaf Pan and bake at 325 degrees for 65-70 minutes.
Remove and let cool for 15 minutes in pan, then turn out on a wire rack.
While cake is cooling, make glaze by combining melted chocolate chips, eggnog, and corn syrup, and whipping together until a smooth glaze forms.
Using a spatula, spread glaze over the top of the cake. Let cake sit for 15 minutes for glaze to set up, then slice and serve.
With a light, fluffy texture and a delicious, aromatic taste, this pound cake has everything you love about the Holidays baked into each slice. The hot cocoa gives the perfect flavor and the eggnog glaze really kicks it up a notch. Serve this up at your next Holiday party and watch your guests mouths water in delight!
