In October, just as the leaves began to change and the air began to cool, we held a Hot Cocoa Taste Test where we tried four of our delicious Honeyville Hot Cocoa’s. With that test we left a promise that we would again make another post featuring four more wonderful Hot Cocoa flavors we have. With winter officially here and Santa’s impending arrival just around the corner, what better time to hold a taste test than now. With that said, let’s take a closer look at four more of our Honeyville Hot Cocoa flavors – Irish Cream, Hazelnut, Mint, and the very popular Mexican.
Hazelnut Hot Cocoa
Looking for a creamy, but not too sweet taste? This is the hot cocoa for you. The subtle hint of hazelnut mixed with the warm taste of chocolate makes the perfect combination for a cold, wintry day at the ski lodge. Honeyville’s Hazelnut Hot Cocoa is the perfect companion for any winter afternoon tucked up on the couch with your warmest blanket. This cocoa is very flavorful without being too overpowering in taste and would be the perfect addition to any one’s pantry or food storage cabinet.
Mint Hot Cocoa
If you’re looking for a unique, yet powerful taste, Honeyville’s Mint Hot Cocoa may be the choice for you. With your first sip, there is no mistaking which hot cocoa you have in your mug. One simple ingredient – Cinnamon. Just a subtle hint of cinnamon has pushed this mix to the bottom of the list for some, while catapulting it to a new realm of hot cocoa-goodness for others. For me, the combination of these two ingredients is a bold new adventure that takes my taste buds to a new level. I prefer mine with a big dollop of whip cream, how about you?

This, by far, was my favorite of today’s taste test. The Honeyville Irish Cream Hot Cocoa adds a bold and unique taste that can’t be found anywhere else. The addition of Irish Cream is anything but subtle, but it works perfectly with the warm chocolate to create a delicious taste that will keep your toasty all through the winter. My suggestion? Get a big mug and sip slow, you’ll want to savor this taste as long as you can.
