New year. New goals. New plans. Back to life. One of the most popular goals is weight loss, right? Heck, I need to join that one after the holidays and all the junk I ate!! So, I was feeling like we needed a “healthy” post and I have one for you. Pull out your favorite yogurt and favorite Honeyville freeze dried fruit and with these homemade granola cups, you have got yourself a healthy breakfast, lunch or snack!

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. Butter
1/4 cup Honeyville Granulated Honey
1/4 cup Molasses
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1/4 tsp. Cloves
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups Honeyville Oats
1/4 cup Honeyville Flax seed
1/4 cup Almond Slices
1/4 cup Crasins
Favorite Yogurt
Favorite Honeyville Freeze Dried Fruit

Directions:
In a small saucepan melt and stir butter, honey, molasses, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt. Remove from heat and add vanilla. In another bowl mix oats, flax seed  almond slices and craisins. Pour the liquid over dry ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for 30 mins. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Once cooled spoon into a greased muffin tin. Best if you wet your hands so that you can form granola into a cup shape by pushing in the middle and then up the sides. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Cool completely before taking out of muffin tin.
When ready to eat, fill cup with yogurt and top with freeze dried fruit.

Enjoy your healthy snack!
