That’s right, these are not your typically brownies. It’s alive, ALIVE (with flavor that is)! So light the jack-o-latern, grab that scary movie you’ve been saving, and enjoy these Halloween Oreo-Filled Brownies!

Ingredients (Brownies):
2 packs Honeyville Fudge Brownie Mix
4 Eggs
1/2 cup Water
2/3 cup Vegetable Oil
15 Halloween special Oreo Cookies

4 cups Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup (stick) Butter, softened
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Orange Food Coloring

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine brownie mixes, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl and mix until a soft, smooth batter forms.

In a 9×13 baking sheet, pour in about half of the brownie batter.

Now, here comes our “secret ingredient!”

Place your Oreo cookies in the baking sheet on top of the batter.

You’ll want to space them out about three across and five down. You’ll have 15 total cookies in your batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the top of the cookies, place in the oven, and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Check with a toothpick before removing, to make sure the brownies have cooked completely through.

Begin to make your buttercream frosting by combining powdered sugar, butter, cream, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and mixing with an electric hand mixer.

Add food coloring and mix until color is completely combined with frosting. You may want to add a little more food coloring, depending on how dark of an orange you want.

Remove brownies from oven and let cool for an hour or so before frosting.

Add frosting evenly on top of brownies.

You can also add a few Halloween sprinkles if you’d like.

Slice up, serve, and enjoy!

These brownies bake up super moist and delicious. Each slice brings a spooky surprise of oreo cookie bliss! And the frosting? Let’s just say you’ll be howling at the moon at how delicious this buttery, vanilla creation is. Frosting has never tasted so sinfully good.

Yes, fall is here, and with one bite of these amazing brownies, you’ll hope it never leaves!
