Imagine the perfect cookie. What would it be like? Light and fluffy? That’s a must! Rich, moist, and maybe even a little chewy? Definitely. How about completely gluten and grain free? That’s right, gluten-free! Does that sound too impossible to imagine? Trust me, it’s not only possible, but a very tasty proposition.
I’ve already mentioned here on our blog how amazing our Grandpa’s Kitchen Gluten-Free Flour Blend is, but let me just say that again…it’s amazing! One of the biggest questions we get from people after they’ve decided to live the gluten-free lifestyle is which type of flour they can directly substitute for wheat flour in their recipes. While our almond, hazelnut, walnut, and coconut flours are the best out there, because they are so different and unique from traditional flour, there’s no real direct substitution formula for them. Our Grandpa’s Kitchen Gluten-Free Flour Blend is the only gluten-free flour I’ve found that can be directly substituted in any recipe that calls for wheat flour. That’s a big thing, especially for those beginning or making their first transition to a gluten-free lifestyle.
To show you how easy this flour is to substitute, I thought I’d give you the perfect demonstration using, well, a cookie recipe! Warm, moist, and delicious, these bars are exactly what your gluten-free lifestyle has been hoping for, but not sure you could have. Check out our Gluten-Free Pecan Butterscotch Bars!
