2 cups Honeyville Powdered Peanut Butter + 1/2 cup Water
2 1/2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips
2 Tbsp Butter
Yields: 12 cups
First, reconstitute your peanut butter.
To do so, combine peanut butter powder with 1/2 cup water and stir until thick and pasty. You want your consistency to be similar to cookie dough.
Roll peanut butter into 12 round balls, just a bit smaller than a ping pong ball. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set up.
Next, melt 1 Tbsp butter and 1 cup of dark chocolate together.
In a muffin tin pan prepared with muffin paper cups, pour a thin, bottom layer in each cup with your melted chocolate. This will give you the bottom of your cups. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Remove cups once set up and place peanut butter balls in each cup.
Melt remaining chocolate and butter together. Pour remaining chocolate over peanut butter in cups, place in freezer and allow 15 minutes to set up. Remove, and serve.
These peanut butter cups are not only large and in charge, their taste is out of this world! The rich, dark chocolate, combined with the creamy peanut butter, gives you a snack that you will love one bite at a time! If you’re not a dark chocolate fan, simply substitute milk chocolate chips instead and enjoy all the taste and texture.
It isn’t Christmas without decadent treats, and nothings more enjoyable than these amazing Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups!
