Don’t you just love biscuits? That warm, soft, buttery center surrounded by a crisp delicious crust. Drizzled with honey, smothered with jam, or just topped with a cube of butter, no dish is complete without a warm biscuit on the side.
We’re all familiar with a certain seafood chain restaurant and their mouth watering Garlic Cheddar Biscuits. My mouth is salivating right now just thinking about them! Well, here at Honeyville, we wondered if there was any way we could make those same biscuits using some of our favorite ingredients.

Not only did we find a way, but we’ve also made them gluten-free! That’s right, these biscuits are completely grain free, so the whole family can enjoy each savory bite! Strap on that apron, it’s time to bake up some Coconut Flour Garlic Cheddar Biscuits!

1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
5 Eggs
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Shortening
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine coconut flour, baking soda, salt, and garlic powder, and whisk together.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs and apple cider vinegar and beat together with an electric hand mixer.
Next, add flour mixture, shortening, and cheese, and mix together until a thick, sticky dough forms.
Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the batter on to your USA Pan Cookie Sheet, lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Remove and allow to cool before serving.

These biscuits bake up warm, tasty, and oh so savory. The freeze dried cheese bakes in to each biscuit perfectly and gives the perfect amount of flavor and texture. Best of all, these biscuits are completely gluten-free! Serve these bad boys up at any meal for the perfect side dish!
