School is back in session, and if you’re like me, you’re finding it’s hard to stay energized. With all the tasks this time of year brings, from carpools, early mornings, band, sports, and club meetings, and anything else you can think of, it’s no wonder our stamina seems to be fizzling away.

So how do we stay energized throughout this hectic time? How do we keep ourselves active and going, without completely burning out all together? The answer, my friends, are Chia Seeds. These small, insignificant-looking dots the Mother Nature’s natural energy booster! Packed with all the key nutrients you need for hydration, stamina, and strength, these tiny seeds are the one way to Back-to-School burn-outs away! Through in a little dark chocolate with these seeds, and you’ve got a treat not only packed with energy, but extremely delicious and mouth-watering as well! All this in a no-bake bar? You can’t pass it up! It’s time to create some Chocolate Chia Energy Bars!

1/3 cup Raw Organic Chia Seeds
1/3 cup Honeyville Baker’s Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 cups Pitted Dates
1/2 tsp Vanilla
3 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Water

First, you need to mix and process all the ingredients!


In your BOSCH Food Processor attachment, puree dates with coconut oil until a thick past forms.


Add chia seeds, cocoa powder, vanilla, and water, and pulse until all ingredients are fully combined and a thick batter forms.


Don’t worry if the seeds to break down completely, just as long as all other ingredients are fully combined.


In a 8×8 cake pan, lined with parchment paper, pour in batter and spread out evenly using wax paper, or a second sheet of parchment paper.

Place in refrigerator to firm up for 4-6 hours.


Remove and cut into bars on a cutting board, then serve.
