In a sauce pan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Whisk in remaining ingredients. Continue cooking and stirring for another 2 minutes until smooth. The farina will continue to thicken upon standing.
I like to personalize each bowl. The picture above shows farina sprinkled with brown sugar, maple syrup, and pecans.
