Ingredients (Topping):
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Bananas

1 1/2 cups Honeyville Alta Artisan Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Sour Cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large, heavy sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Once butter is melted, add brown sugar and let simmer, constantly stirring, for 3 minutes until thick and smooth.

Pour into your USA Pan Hearth Bread Pan. Next, take freeze dried bananas and line in pan on top of the caramel topping you’ve just created.

Now, begin your cake. First, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and whisk together until completely combined.

In a large bowl, with your electric hand mixer, beat together butter and sugar until soft and combined. Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream, and beat until fully combined.

Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.

Gently pour batter into your pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove and allow cake to cool in pan for 5-10 minutes, then turn upside down on a plate, slice and serve.

This cake has all the taste and texture you can handle, and then some! Light, fluffy, and full of flavor on the inside, then topped with sweet bananas and gooey caramel on top, each slice is a piece of heaven and an absolute, mouth watering dream! Be sure to enjoy a large glass of cold milk with your slice of this amazing cake.
