Apple Pie. Is there any better traditional dessert, especially this time of year? I know, we typically associate apple pie with fall time, but think about it for a minute. Spring is the time of fresh new beginnings. It brings with it the anticipation of summer and everything outdoors. Family reunions, picnics at the park, and neighborhood barbecues are just around the corner. And what’s the traditional dessert we serve at these events? That’s right, Apple Pie!

You could say Apple Pie and Spring time were made for each other. So imagine if you could have that delicious, homemade apple pie taste you love, spread on a warm piece of toast. Crazy you say? Not possible, you protest? You can when that apple pie flavor is contained in a delicious, homemade jam!
With apple pie on the brain we’ve concocted a mouth watering, taste bud satisfying jam recipe that is not only easy to make, but will leave you begging for it again and again? I mean, who wouldn’t want some more apple pie, right? Grab a pot, it’s time to cook up some Apple Pie Jam!
2 cups Water
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1 1/2 cups Sugar
3/4 cup Ultra Gel
Yields: 4 jelly jars
Add water, lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, sugar, and brown sugar to a large bot and place on the stove top at medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once ingredients are completely combined, stir in apples and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in Ultra Gel. Continue whisking until ultra gel is completely dissolved.
Pour contents into jelly jars, place lids on and allow to cool.
