Pizza, a food for all ages any night of the week! Delicious, easy to make, and doesn’t dirty a lot of dishes. Totally a winning combination! This recipe was adapted from MyHomemadeLife.
Ingredients:
Crust:
Chef Tess’ Freezer Rolls
Toppings:
1 and 1/2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Sausage
1/2 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Mushrooms
2 Tbsp. Honeyville Dehydrated Onions
1/2 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Bell Peppers
2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 (14.5 oz) can Diced Tomatoes, drained
1/2 tsp. Chef Tess Romantic Italian Seasoning
Directions:
First start by mixing up the Freezer Rolls. The batch makes about 24 rolls but you’ll only be using about 12-15 rolls for the crust. Follow the tutorial to the point where you’ve shaped the dough into rolls. Place about 15 rolls into a greased 9×13 pan to raise at room temperature, uncovered for 35-45 minutes until the rolls are touching if originally placed 1/2 inch apart. (Quick side note: go ahead and follow the tutorial for the remaining dough, you’ll enjoy the fresh rolls some other night!)
While the rolls are doing their thing get your toppings ready by rehydrating them according to their package directions. Drain well. Begin layering the toppings on top. Start with the sausage, then sprinkle the onions, peppers, mushrooms, seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Next add the diced tomatoes and top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake pizza in a 350 preheated oven for 35-40 minutes.
We really do love pizza in our house, and we love this deep dish delight. Try this tonight!
