There’s nothing in this world better than a warm slice of chocolate cake, am I right? Rich, light, fluffy, and full of flavor, chocolate cake has been making life better since that first baker said to themselves “What would happen if I put chocolate in this cake?”

The best thing about chocolate cake, in my opinion, is that it’s easy to “accessorize” with. What do I mean by accessorize? Simply that you can add anything to chocolate cake, and it will only make that thing better. Take chocolate pudding for example. On it’s own, it’s very delicious, but drizzle it in and on top of chocolate cake, and the two become a tag-team sensation exploding with amazing flavor! Top it off with our Insta-Whip and, well, you may just pass out from rich, delicious, taste overload! But don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself! Ingredients:
3 cups Chocolate Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1/3 cup Water
3/4 cup Honeyville Instant Chocolate Pudding
4 cups cold Milk
1 cup Powdered Sugar

Topping:
1 cup Honeyville Insta-Whip
1 cup cold Water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and 1/3 cup water, and mix together until a rich batter begins to form.

In an 8×8 cake pan, pour batter and place in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Once cake is complete, remove, but DO NOT allow to cool.

While cake is still warm, take the handle of a wooden spoon and poke holes through the entire cake, about an inch or so apart.

In a large mixing bowl, combing pudding mix, powdered sugar, and milk and mix with an electric hand mixer until a semi-thick pudding begins to form.

Pour pudding over the top of the cake, making sure it seeps through the holes of the cake. Make sure you cover the cake completely with pudding.

Prepare your topping by combining insta-whip and water and mixing with an electric mixer until stiff peaks begin to form.

Using a large spatula, spread the insta-whip over the top of the cake. Place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, then remove, slice, and serve.

This may be the messiest cake you’ll ever see, but your taste buds won’t mind. The flavor that comes from one slice is completely out of this world. The pudding makes this cake super soft and moist, while infusing it with more flavor than you can imagine. The two chocolate flavors work in sync to maximize your taste buds experience, while the smooth insta-whip topping adds a creaminess you could never imagine a cake could have.

It’s time to “accessorize” chocolate cake, and this recipe does just that!
