Michael Pierce, Sr., Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mike embarked on his professional journey after serving in the US Navy as an operations specialist. As COO of Honeyville, he ensures operational activities align seamlessly with our customers’ business objectives. Mike focuses on optimizing processes from production to supply chain to delivery, driving profitability while nurturing a cohesive team culture.  

With a wealth of experience in sales, R&D, production, distribution, warehousing, WMS and ERP implementation, Mike spearheads strategic initiatives at Honeyville aimed at enhancing sales, optimizing operations, and delivering best-in-class products to our customers. 

Bringing over three decades of experience to Honeyville, Mike’s track record speaks volumes. He served as COO/Executive Vice President of Operations at Thomas Foods International, where he orchestrated a remarkable 45% sales growth over three years. Prior to that, he founded Rustic Prairie Holding Company and led groundbreaking initiatives at Daily’s Premium Meats. With experiences spanning West Liberty Foods to Stonewall Organics and beyond, Mike’s knowledge of the food industry is the cornerstone for implementing strategic initiatives that bolster profitability, enhance sales, and optimize operations at Honeyville.  

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University and was honored as part of the 2023 Who’s Who of Business Executives by the World Business Forum. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his fiancée, five children, and two grandchildren in various activities including golf, hunting, riding his Harley, and Jeeping.
